“每年我们县的新生儿都超过三千个，但大约有60至80个婴儿在五岁之前就夭折了。

“在过去的10年间，我一直致力于研究墨江县五岁以下儿童死亡率的问题。常见原因是窒息、肺炎和腹泻。
