Abstract
Children's rights, inclusion, protection and participation are themes cross-cutting the China Programme of SCUK, but not often explicitly discussed together except in the context of particular projects focussing on children at risk of exploitation or aspects of vulnerability, or in sessions and training looking at Child Rights Programming. At the China Country Programme Meeting in April 2003, a preliminary meeting on RIPP was held, looking in particular on issues of protection and participation arising in some projects. The range of project work discussed in that meeting was limited because of simultaneous separate meetings on education work and HIVAIDS work.
