Child Safeguarding Statement for Adverts 

Save the Children is committed to ensuring that all our personnel and programmes are absolutely safe for children.

We undertake rigorous procedures to ensure that only people suitable to work with children are allowed to join our organisation and all candidates will be therefore be subject to this scrutiny.

CS positioning statement:

We need to keep children safe so our selection process, which includes rigorous background checks, reflects our commitment to the protection of children from abuse.

Key Task:

a.       Work closely with Program Operations Director and Emergency Response Lead to lead the Hunan Flood Livelihood project which includes, but not limited to:

-          Project implementation plan

-          Communication with relevant CO and RO staff

-          Lead the project implementation

-          Write the sitrip report and project report

b.       Under the supervision of Program Operations Driector and Humanitarian and DRR coordinator, provide the supports on the Capacity building project which includes, but not limited to:

-          Support on the workshop preparation and management

-          Support on internal procedure

-          Support on the final report

Report to: Humanitarian and DRR coordinator

Period: till end of December 2017.
