Education Program Intern
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Programme Development and Quality
LOCATION: Beijing
ROLE PURPOSE: The intern is responsible for supporting Early childhood care and development programme (ECCD) and Basic Education(BE) Programme with a focus on national level coordination and technical assistance.
SCOPE OF ROLE: |
Reports to: Basic Education(BE) Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide learning and knowledge management assistance within education team, including translating and organizing Education project resources (project proposals, reports, assessments, action plans, resource tools, etc.); 2. Develop and implement training event with education team, including designing meeting agenda, gathering information, inviting outside experts, connecting with education project team members, etc.; 3. Provide designing assistance in designing education project communication materials, including designing education Project brochure, introduction PowerPoints, education department staff lists, etc.; 4. Other duties as assigned;
Job Qualifications: 1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor or a Master degree; preferred education, sociology or psychology related; 2. Problem-solving ability, goal-orientated with good multitasking and highly organizational ability; 3. A positive attitude with the ability to think critically, and provide creative solutions; 4. Ability to priorities tasks and manage ambiguity within deadlines; 5. Proficient with the Internet, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word; 6. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English;
Time and Location: 3-4 days per week based in Save the Children China Program Beijing office
